On May 12th, 2015 the Santa Monica City Council adopted the "Home-Sharing Ordinance," which clarifies existing prohibitions against Vacation Rentals and imposes new regulations on Home-Sharing. Main Street Entertainment and Education Pilot Program

The City of Santa Monica welcomes applications from interested parties for educational and entertainment activities at the Sunday Main Street Farmers Market. The intent is to provide locations within the Market where educators and performers can teach and entertain Farmers Market customers in a fashion consistent with, complimentary to the Farmers Market mission. Activities may include but are not limited to; cooking, gardening and urban homesteading demonstrations and workshops, face painters, balloon designers, magic or puppet shows, story time, jugglers, mimes, arts and crafts and dance performances with a preference for non-animal related activities. California Incline Temporary Closing

The California Incline closed on Monday, April 20 for an estimated duration of 12 - 13 months.  The Incline will be replaced with a new structure built to current seismic standards that will correct deficiencies and make it safe for vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian use.  More >>>
