The City of Santa Monica bills for water, sewer, and refuse every two months. The due date for your bill is printed on the bill.
If you are unable to pay by the date noted on your bill and would like to make payment arrangements, please call (310) 458-8224, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on alternate Fridays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Please click here for a calendar of this month's office hours.

- Access and print your current and past bills
- View consumption rates
- Set up recurring payments
- Enter move-in/out and start/stop service information

How to Make a Utility Payment
Payments may be made either by mail, on-line, or by a touch-tone phone call to (310) 458-8999. The City also accepts payments in-person by cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Payment may also be deposited in the drop box in front of City Hall at 1685 Main Street or made at the Business & Revenue Operations Division, 1717 4th Street, Suite 150.
