 4-A:  Proclamation designating May as Older Americans Month.    

 6-A:  Approval of City Council minutes of April 5 and April  12,
       1988.                                                     

 6-B:  Ordinance  for  adoption   and  second  reading   amending
       Municipal   Code  Section  7163  to  establish  a  General
       Services   Field   Inspection   and   Plan  Check  Fee  by
       resolution, introduced April 12, 1988.                    

 6-C:  Ordinance  for  adoption   and  second  reading   amending
       Municipal  Code   Sections   4313   and   4314   regarding
       construction  and  demolition  fees,  introduced April 12,
       1988.                                                     

 6-D:  Resolution  approving  Supplement  to  Local  Agency/State
       agreement   for  Federal-Aid  funds  for  improvements  to
       Colorado Avenue from 14th Street to 20th Street.          

 6-E:  Resolution  approving  Final  Tract  Map  18042 for 4-unit
       condominium at 1121 21st Street.                          

 6-F:  Resolution setting a public  hearing for May 24,  1988, on
       the assessment  of  costs  to  repair  damaged  sidewalks,
       driveways, and curbs on various streets (SR-88-111).      

 6-G:  Resolution setting planning, zoning and land use fees.    

 6-H:  Recommendation to receive Annual Report on Compliance with
       California   Revenue  and  Taxation   Code  Section  17274
       regarding  rental  housing  code  enforcement for calendar
       year 1987.                                                

 6-I:  Recommendation for  additional appropriation  authority in
       the amount of $5,000  for  Library  participation  in  the
       Older Adults Materials Collection Development program.    

 6-J:  Recommendation   to   award   contract   to  Sully  Miller
       Contracting Company  in  the  amount  of  $679,007.82  for
       improvements  to  Colorado  Avenue  between  14th and 20th
       Streets.                                                  

 7-A:  Public hearing to  vacate a portion  of 1st Court  located
       between Broadway and Colorado Avenue.                     

 7-B:  Public hearing on assessments  of costs to repair  damaged
       sidewalks,   driveways  and  curbs  at  various  locations
       (SR-88-109).                                              

 8-A:  Ordinance for introduction and first reading  establishing
       interim height  limits, allowable  floor area  ratios, and
       property  development  standards  pending  adoption of the
       Draft Comprehensive Land Use and Zoning Ordinance.        

 8-B:  Ordinance  for  introduction  and  first  reading   adding
       Chapter   4A  to   Article  IX   of  the   Municipal  Code
       implementing Program 12 of the Housing Element.           

 8-C:  Ordinance  for  adoption   and  second  reading   amending
       Municipal  Code Section 3964 to increase false alarm fees,
       introduced April 12, 1988.                                

10-A:  Recommendation to set a public hearing regarding  proposed
       new Santa Monica Mall street and alley names and approve a
       change   of   name   for   the  Third  Street  Development
       Corporation.                                              

11-A:  Resolution  certifying  Final  Environmental Impact Report
       for  extension of beach bikepath from north of the Pier to
       the northern City limits, approve bikepath alignment,  and
       direct staff to seek Coastal permit.                      

11-B:  Recommendation  to   direct  City   Attorney  to   prepare
       ordinance  amending  City's  Municipal  Plumbing  Code  to
       require  use  of  ultra  low-flush  toilets  in  all   new
       construction  and certain categories  of building remodels
       and additions.                                            

11-C:  Request for Closed Session for the purpose of  considering
       personnel   matters  and  threatened  litigation,  pending
       litigation, and  litigation to  be commenced  by the City.
       (A  list of pending  litigation cases to  be considered in
       Closed Session is posted on the Council Chambers door  and
       is on file with the City Clerk.)                          

13-A:  Request  of  Jane  Irvine  to  address  Council  regarding
       changing construction hours.                              

13-B:  Request of  John F.  Weaver to  address Council  regarding
       obtaining  business license to sell food and non-alcoholic
       beverages on beaches.                                     

14-A:  Acceptance of letter of resignation of Gloria Drexler from
       the Commission on the Status of Women.                    

14-B:  Acceptance of letter of resignation of Alvin Knowles  from
       the Housing Commission.                                   

14-C:  Request of Mayor Conn to discuss cooperation with  schools
       in providing space  and  facilities  for  participants  in
       International Peace Walk in July.                         

14-D:  Request of Mayor Pro Tempore H. Katz to discuss update  on
       possibility of  constructing our own  or alternative waste
       treatment facility.                                       

14-E:  Request of Councilmember  Zane to discuss  amending Zoning
       Code to permit fixed-location vending on 3rd Street Mall.
