Foundation for Baile Oakes Sculpture for Palisades Park.
5-A: Appointment of members to Boards and Commissions,
continued from June 28, 1988.
5-B: Appeal of Planning Commission denial of Conditional Use
Permit 502 to change the operating hours of the previously
approved 75 seat restaurant at 2435 Main Street.
Applicant: Eugene & Associates, Inc. Appellant:
Councilmember David Finkel, continued from June 28, 1988.
6-B: Resolution authorizing the holding of a parade on August
14, 1988, on a route other than the official City parade
route.
6-C: Resolution to place on November 1988 ballot a General
Obligation Bond measure for acquisition and improvement of
property for future expansion of and parking for Main
Library.
6-D: Recommendation to appropriate funds for rehabilitation of
Ocean Park Community Center's Homeless Drop-in Center and

adding a new Chapter 1 to Article IX of the Santa
Monica Municipal Code to adopt a Comprehensive Land Use
and Zoning Ordinance; resolution certifying Final
Subsequent Environmental Impact Report and Final
Supplemental Environmental Impact Report on Proposed
Zoning Ordinance.
8-B: Emergency ordinance for introduction and adoption adding
Chapter 2B to Article VII of the Santa Monica Municipal
Code restricting the amount of waste water permitted to be
discharged into the Santa Monica sewage system and
declaring the presence of an emergency.
11-A: Request for Closed Session for the purpose of considering
personnel matters and threatened litigation, pending
litigation and litigation to be commenced by the City. (A
list of pending litigation cases to be considered in
Closed Session is posted on the Council Chambers door and
is on file with the City Clerk.)

Humane Division personnel.
14-A: Appointment of member to the Commission on Older

Council Chambers by State Lands Commission on August 19,
1988.
