How do I find out if I am due a refund?
Letters will be mailed out during the month
of October 2006. If you do not receive
a letter and believe you are due a refund,
please call our processing center at
1-800-214-1526.

What do I have to do to receive my refund?
When you receive your letter in the mail,
please read it carefully, print your name,
sign and return it as soon as possible.

know there is an overpayment on a citation
which was issued on my car, but I am not
sure if I made both payments. Can I still
get a refund?
Yes. Refunds will be issued to the
registered owner of the vehicle.

I overpaid a citation but the car wasn’t
registered in my name at the time. Can I
still get a refund?
You must show proof both payments were made
by you. Please submit a copy of the
front and back of the canceled check/money
order, copy of credit card statement, or a
copy of receipt for both payments.

How long will it take to get my refund
check?
Letters will be mailed out during the month
of October 2006. When you receive your
letter in the mail, please read it
carefully, print your name, sign and return
it to our processing agency. Once your
letter is received, a check will be
processed and mailed to you within 30 days.

I lost my letter. Can I get a copy or how
can I get my refund?
You can contact our processing agency at
1-800-214-1526 to have a duplicate letter
mailed to you.

Can a check be made payable to someone other
than the name on the letter?
Checks will be made payable to the person
who’s name is on the letter unless proof of
payment is provided to show otherwise.
You must submit a copy of the front and back
of the canceled check/money order, copy of
credit card statement, or a copy of receipt
showing both payments were made by you.
