Experience
Give your 8- to 14-year-old an experience to remember at Camp
Santa Monica! Based at Virginia Avenue Park's Thelma Terry Center, your child
will be busy and challenged in mind and body while participating
in a host of distinctive specialty classes and activities.
Whether learning new art skills, gaining fitness in a variety of
sporting activities or acting in a theater production, your
child will look forward to a new achievement everyday!
 Camp
Santa Monica provides action-packed, fun-filled sessions for
your camper with a wide variety of age appropriate activities
and experiences. This summer Camp Santa Monica offers a series
of half-day activities which give your child the opportunity to
explore his or her personal interests! Activities will be
available in the areas of: science, visual arts, sports &
nutrition and music. This year, Camp Santa Monica will also
have a Young Teen Program for youth
12-14. Children will have the option to choose a combination of
two half-day specialty classes, one in the morning and one in
the afternoon.
Camp Santa Monica also
offers a host of fun trips chaperoned by highly trained staff
who work with youth year round. In addition to weekly outings
to the state-of-the-art Santa Monica Swim Center, there are
excursions to fun places like local parks, family attractions
and local museums. Lunch will be provided.
Camp
fees include lunch, a t-shirt, class materials, trip transportation, and
admissions and daily afternoon snacks.

Camp Hours: Camps run on
weekdays from 8:30 am - 5 pm
Extended care is offered from 7-8:30 am and from 5-6 pm for
$35 per week.

What to Bring: We
recommend that your child bring a
morning snack, sunscreen and water.
Financial Assistance/Payment Info:
Payment may be made by check or money
order payable to the City of Santa
Monica OR by Visa, Discover or
MasterCard. Fees cannot be
pro-rated.
Generous financial
assistance (25% to 90% reduction of
fees) is available to qualifying
students who live or go to school in
Santa Monica (Santa Monica residents
only for summer day camps). Low-
and moderate-income families are
encouraged to apply.
