This unit manages the City's Community
Development (CD) Program which funds
programs and services via partnerships with
local non-profit social service
organizations serving homeless and
low-income individuals, victims of domestic
violence, the disabled and seniors.
Unit develops partnerships and secures
funding for the
Chronic Homeless Program,
Serial Inebriate Outreach Project and
other efforts to improve the quality of life
for homeless and special needs individuals.
Staff also supports the
Commission
on the Status of Women,
Disabilities
Commission and Social Services Commission.

Activities League Board and Virginia Avenue
Park Advisory Board.
