"A WORLD JOURNEY ON KEYBOARD”

Santa Monica, California – Take a musical journey around the world with LA Philharmonic Pianist Junko Ueno Garrett on Saturday, May 24th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the MLK, Jr. Auditorium at Santa Monica Public Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.  Junko plays pieces by Manuel de Falla and Isaac Albeniz, taking you to Spain; by Gabriel Fauré taking you to France; by Ryuichi Sakamoto taking you to Japan; by Sergei Rachmaninov taking you to Russia; and finally by Heitor Villa-Lobos, taking you to Brazil.
