Architectural Review Board AgendasThe Architectural Review Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica, CaliforniaAgenda Policies Requests to Speak on an item must be submitted on a speaker's request form and submit it to the Board secretary. All requests to address the Board on public hearing items must be submitted prior to the Board's consideration of the item. A project applicant need not submit a request to speak Consent Calendar items will be acted upon by the Board at one time without discussion unless a Boardmember requests discussion on an item or a member of the public has submitted a request to speak on an item. If such a request is made, the item will be heard after the balance of the Consent Calendar been voted upon. Hearing Procedures on each item include presentation of a staff report; Board questions of staff; a two-minute presentation by the project applicant, if any; Board questions of the applicant; two minutes for each member of the public wishing to speak to the item; two minutes for project applicant rebuttal; Board deliberations and decision. Presentations by Members of the Public should begin with the speaker stating his or her name and address followed by a statement regarding the item under consideration. Please speak to the Board as a whole. Letters or Written Materials regarding agenda items may be submitted to the City Planning Division staff prior to or at the Board meeting; written materials submitted at least eight (8) days in advance of the meet will be included in the Board members meeting packets. Action by the Architectural Review Board on most matters occurs with the affirmative votes of information on appeals, please contact the City Planning Division. |
