The City is preparing a new
Housing Element! Preparation of the 2008-2014 Housing
Element has begun, and PCD is using the opportunity to coordinate the
City's housing objectives with the Land Use and Circulation Element's
goals for shaping Santa Monica's future in the next 20 years. Community
input will also be coordinated with the LUCE. To view the City's current

The City Council adopted changes
to the Affordable Housing Production Program
that affect the options developers have to satisfy their affordable
housing obligations in conjunction with multifamily development. View
