Consumer & Miscellaneous Services/Information474 - Cable TV Service Problems
The City
of Santa Monica manages consumer complaints regarding Time Warner
and Verizon local cable television service. If you want to receive
cable at your home, or if you are having a cable television service
problem with Time Warner, please call Time Warner toll-free at
888-892-2253. To order Verizon cable television call
888-438-3467. For Verizon technical support or billing questions,
call 888-553-1555.
If you have a problem with your cable television service that you have been unable to resolve with the cable company directly, you may place a consumer complaint with the city's cable television division (CityTV). The division will work with you and the cable company in an effort to resolve your service problem. Once your complaint is received by the city, it is usually responded to within 48 hours. Please call CityTV at (310) 458-8590, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on alternate Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours and on weekends, you may leave a message and your call will be returned on the next business day. You can also place a cable service complaint via the GO Santa Monica system.
